TAHA recognises that social enterprise in health & social care sector is a growing sector & offers new opportunities. Our future strategy incorporates social enterprises combined with partnership & consortium based approaches as vehicles to securing grants & contracts.
In the short term TAHA is focusing on tapping & embracing social enterprise & exploring opportunities to build social enterprises in the following areas:
Personal/Respite Care Service
Offering care staff, Personal Assistants and other support services to older people and adults with disabilities
Offering services and securing contracts from people eligible for or in receipt direct payments or personal budgets
Offering and extending our existing Personal & Respite Care Services currently based in Ealing and in Slough to other boroughs and areas

Healthy Eating Café/Food Service
offering a wider choice of healthy foods & meals including take away & home delivery service & extending our customer base of our Shanti Centre’s luncheon service in Hammersmith & Fulham
We are interested in linking up with other community centres, day centres wishinh to develop provide meals and food to their users and customers.
We cater for meetings, conferences and community events

Transport for people with disabilities
TAHA is raising funds for a new mini-bus & identifying contracts from individuals and organisations to enable people with disabilities to access essential services & accessible transport.
We are planning to start a pilot transport service for people with disabilities.
From June 2011 people will be able to book and use our adapted vehicle to access local services.
We particularly welcome interests and collaborations with organisations supporting people with disabilities and transport providers.
